Gas Gauge: Lowest Price in Town at $3.69

The average price has held steady since last week.

In Connecticut, the average gallon of regular gasoline costs $3.79, according to AAA's "Fuel Gauge Report," with the mid-grade at $3.90, premium at $4.02 and diesel at $4.15.

Things are bad, but could be worse: the highest-ever recorded price for a gallon of regular unleaded in the Nutmeg State was $4.39 — on July 9, 2008.
