Need Stamps? Darien Post Office Is Out

The Darien Post Office has run out of postage stamps and clerks aren't sure when they'll get more.

The Darien Post Office has run out of postage stamps. A clerk on Thursday afternoon said it isn't certain when the next batch will come in—it was due to arrive already.

But fear not! Plenty of stores, including supermarkets and gas stations nowadays sell U.S. postage stamps.

And if you need to mail something from the Darien Post Office, they can use a postage machine, although it might not look as good on a Valentine ...

Doesn't Darien have the automated postal service machine? I went to the Greenwich postal facility on Valley Road this afternoon and by using the automated machine, printed out 30 Forever stamps. It gives you option of designs for the stamps. But you must use credit or debit card on the machine. And the best part—there's hardly ever a long queue to use it.
