Your Photos of Darien Hit by, Recovering from Sandy

Some streets are flooding as high tide comes in and wind lashes trees in Darien. Stay indoors now, but if you have photos of the storm, you can share them by uploading them here, or email them to Darien@Patch.com.

NOTE: DARIEN PATCH WILL NOT PUBLISH ANY PHOTOS OF CHILDREN ON THE STREET UNLESS THE PERSON SUBMITTING THE PHOTO TELLS US THERE ARE NO WIRES DOWN ON THE STREET. IT'S JUST TOO DANGEROUS TO HAVE KIDS OUT THERE ON SOME STREETS, AND WE DON'T WANT TO ENCOURAGE PARENTS TO ALLOW IT. IF THE STREET IS FREE OF WIRES, PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN SUBMITTING THE PHOTO, EITHER IN THE EMAIL OR (IF YOU'RE UPLOADING DIRECTLY) IN A CAPTION.

For anyone who emailed in a photograph and hasn't seen it here yet, please be patient. I hope to have them all up by early this evening.
