The rain has lightened up. The CL&P power outage map shows no one in Darien without power.

* AT 619 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM SHERMAN TO BETHEL TO GEORGETOWN TO WILTON TO STAMFORD...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM NEW MILFORD TO DANBURY TO 9 MILES NORTHEAST OF NEW CANAAN TO NORWALK TO STAMFORD...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. * OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO DARIEN...
