The 16th president of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, is a popular historical figure who's been in the news quite a bit lately.

State of Connecticut offices, including:
- Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles (also closed Friday in observance of Presidents Day)

Nearly everything else, including:

Banks, under Connecticut law, are allowed to remain open on a holiday if they notify their customers beforehand by posting information in their lobby or office. In practice, all or nearly all banks in the state are open for Lincoln's Birthday, including TD Bank, Bank of America and People's United Bank.
