When Does Daylight Saving Time End in 2012?

These dark mornings have you wondering: When does Daylight Saving Time end?

Those 7:30 a.m. commutes will get darker before they get lighter. Officially, Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Remember, you’ll “fall back” and set your clocks back one hour. Many electronic devices automatically adjust when Daylight Savings Time begins or ends.

When you change your clocks in the fall and spring, it’s also a good time to change smoke detector batteries and check to make sure device are in working order.

Arizona, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa do not observe Daylight Savings Time.

It begins again on March 10, 2013.

With storm recovery being a single focus - thanks for the reminder about daylight savings! Since 2 am November 4th is less than 24 hours away - it may be helpful to change the phrase "doesn't end for another week". A bit confusing. . . .
