Letter: McNamara, Martens Want Transparency

To the editor:
I'm supporting Christa McNamara and David Martens for Board of Education, and here's why.
These are tumultuous times for our school system, culminating in Superintendent Steve Falcone's resignation, and the Board of Education is committed to shoring up the trust that we place in them.
I believe the best way for voters to support this healing process is by electing the most qualified candidates to the Board of Education, ones who have the knowledge and experience to contribute immediately to this effort.
To me, that points to Christa McNamara and David Martens. Their work on the RTM Education Committee shows their longstanding commitment to our children.
They will provide thoughtful leadership, and work to improve transparency and communication with the community.
There is much about our schools to be proud of, let's make them even better by voting for McNamara and Martens on Tuesday.
