Schneider Backs RTM Ed Committee Members for Board of Ed
"As long-time Chair of the RTM Education Committee, I depended on their suggestions, recommendations, questions and insights," Lois Schneider writes in her letter to the editor.
To the editor:
Christa McNamara and David Martens are excellent candidates for the Board of Education and, as members of the Board, will make important contributions to the oversight of our town’s Public Schools.
They both come with a passion for and experience with education and with a commitment to serve our children’s educational needs and the town’s fiscal management.
Moving from the RTM Education Committee to the Board of Ed allows them to parlay their many years of experience and background to make immediate, thoughtful contributions.
As long-time Chair of the RTM Education Committee, I depended on their suggestions, recommendations, questions and insights.
With the additional board information and ability to be decision-makers, they can make a real, positive difference in our educational system.
Please join me in voting for McNamara and Martens for the Board of Education.
