NEW DATE & TIME: 3rd Academic Lecture – The Digital Dragon: China’s Role in Cyberspace

**As a result of the January 22nd snowstorm, this event has been rescheduled to Friday, February 7th at 11:15am.**

The Darien Community Association continues the fascinating 2014 Academic Lecture Series on Global Issues “China Changes the Guard” on January 23rd with “The Digital Dragon: China’s Role in Cyberspace,” a talk by Charles Freeman III.

A Vice President of Rock Creek Global Advisors, Mr. Freeman focuses on international regulatory and policy matters, concentrating on Asian markets.
He advises multinational companies, financial institutions, and trade associations. Previously he served as Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for China Affairs, acting as chief China trade negotiator helping to shape U.S. trade policy toward China and oversaw U.S. efforts to integrate China into the World Trade Organization.
