Ben's Bells Newtown

Come into the Ben’s Bells
Studio in Newtown to help spread kindness through the creation of Ben’s
Bells.  Nationally renowned, Ben’s Bells
are brightly colored ceramic works of art that are randomly hung in public place
that bear a tag instructing the person who finds the bell to take it home and
to remember to be kind.

We are open EVERY Saturday
from 12-4pm and Wednesdays from 10am-3pm and from 6pm to 9pm.  Food and beverage are welcome into the studio
to make a fun outing for you and your friends!
While we never charge for you to come and make bells, we do rely solely
on donations,  so we kindly suggest a
donation of $5 or whatever you can spare for our donation jar.  Your donation will continue to help us
provide the materials needed to create Ben’s Bells and also fund our kindness
programs in schools, Kind Kids and Kind Campuses.  In our studio, you will either form beads
with clay or have the opportunity to glaze beads.  The bells you make will eventually be
distributed in Connecticut to fulfill their purpose of spreading kindness, one
interaction at a time.

Our team of volunteers will
be staffing the studio and we encourage everyone to drop in during our regular
studio hours.  We also have after hours
availability for private group events such as birthday parties.  For those who would like to participate in
bell making outside of the studio, with a group of friends, we will have
“to-go” boxes available for a small donation.
