Cooking Class on Sauté & Stir-fry for Healthy Eating

Certified Home Chef Paula Nusslein offers another very practical Cooking Essentials class at the Darien Community Association (DCA) on Tuesday, March 25th at 9:30am.

Learn how to sauté and stir-fry to create healthy, quick meals for the family. In this class you’ll see how to season a pan, make the perfect omelet, prep and make a stir-fry, and make a healthy one-pan chicken dish that’s sure to please. Discover the many differences between a skillet and sauté pan and how to use them like a pro. Bonus recipes will include a dessert and some of Paula’s favorite one pan meals. Students will receive a handout covering all materials and recipes covered in class. The session will end with a group discussion, bonus recipes, and scrumptious homework assignments.

This class will be held from 9:30am to 11:30am on Tuesday, March 25th, and is $70, or $55 for DCA members. Prepayment is required by Monday, March 24th at noon, and can be completed online at http://dariendca.org/event-registration/?ee=1202 or by contacting the DCA directly at info@dariendca.org or 203-655-9050. Maximum enrollment will be kept to 18 to ensure plenty of room and time for questions. The DCA is located at 274 Middlesex Road in Darien, CT.
