Darien Nature Center's Chili Challenge

The Darien
Nature Center
is gearing up to host its first annual Chili Challenge.  The event will feature eleven local
restaurants vying for the title of “Best Chili in Darien”. 
Restaurants, including Bodega, Burgers, Shakes and Fries, Chuck’s
Steakhouse, Estia’s American, The Goose, Jimmy’s Southside, Michael Joseph’s
Catering, Rory’s, Sails, Station Eats and Ten Twenty Post, will each be
creating a unique chili recipe to be served the night of the event.  This special event will be held on Saturday,
September 28, 2013 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. on the grounds of the Darien Nature
Center. 

The ticket fee is $75.00 for all you can eat chili, beer,
wine and additional food.  Tickets are
available by calling the Nature
Center (203) 655-7459 or visiting the
website http://www.dariennaturecenter.org/chilichallenge.  The event will be capped for attendance so
get your tickets early.
