DCA Blue Notes Singers - Open Rehearsal and Auditions!

Those who love to sing and volunteer for a good cause are invited to attend open rehearsals and auditions for the Blue Notes, the volunteer singing group of the Darien Community Association (DCA).

The Blue Notes are a collegial group of women of all ages that combine philanthropy with music. Performing three and four-part harmony across music from Big Band to Broadway, nostalgia to country, the group entertains a variety of audiences throughout Southern Fairfield County, to include senior centers and assisted living venues. Their director/accompanist, Dr. Craig Scott Symons, is also the Musical Director of the First Congregational Church of Old Greenwich.

The Blue Notes invite interested vocalists to sing with the group in an open rehearsal on Tuesday, February 4th. Auditions for singers in all parts - in a quartet, using music, with piano accompaniment - will be held on two Tuesdays, February 11th and 18th. Rehearsals and auditions run from 12:30 to 2:30pm.

For further information, call the DCA 203-655-9050 or Karol Lee Trismen at 203-656-1044 or 203-856-1544, email to bluenotes@dariendca.org, or view dariendca.org under DCA Groups/Blue Notes.
