DCA Needlepoint Workshop September 24th

The Darien Community Association (DCA) will offer a Needlepoint workshop for both learning and practicing “needlepointers.”

Those new to needlepoint will be taken step by step through the basics. Those who have some experience may wish to learn a new stitch, or just practice amongst others with the same passion, knowing there’s help nearby. Instructor Sue Ozanne, past instructor at Darien’s House of Needlepoint, encourages her students to learn the intricacies of the art, while enjoying the therapeutic value of this habit-forming craft.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, September 24th from 1:00-3:00pm.  Fees are $25, or $20 for DCA members. Students should bring their choice of needlepoint project to start, or purchase a practice kit from the instructor for $5. Pre-registration is available online through dariendca.org; drop-in attendance is also welcome.
