An Evening of Dance
Dance Concert Brightens Up October at Darien Arts Center
An Evening of Dance became an annual Darien Arts Center tradition in 2000, and since then has become one of Darien’s favorite fall events. The concert features performances by DAC Dance department staff and Adult Students, plus pieces by the DAC Junior and Senior Dance Companies.
DAC Dance Director Bonnie Gombos works with DAC instructors to choreograph the dances, and showcase the versatility of featured students from classic ballet to contemporary jazz. Work on the show begins when dance classes begin in early September, and the professionalism and dedication shows after only six weeks of choreography and practice.

The Darien Arts Center presents An Evening of Dance, October 13th at 7pm & October 14th at 4pm in the DAC Weatherstone Studio. Tickets are $10 each and seating is general admission. Since both shows normally sell out, reservations are recommended and may be made by contacting the DAC Office at 203-655-8683 or emailing bonnie@darienarts.org.
