Darien Rowayton Bank to Host Artwork of Tom Ranges

DARIEN ROWAYTON BANK TO SHOWCASE ARTWORK OF LOCAL ARTIST TOM RANGES


Darien Rowayton Bank will be hosting a “Coffee and Donuts” reception on Saturday, January 12th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at their Darien location. The public is invited to come and view Tom Ranges’ artwork which will be on display at the Bank throughout January. Tom, a Rowayton resident, attended the Art Students League in NY, has
traveled to Vermont and Maine in the summers to study landscape painting, taught art appreciation “Learning to Look” class at Rowayton Elementary School and to budding artists in the “Be Creative” at The Rowayton Library program. Tom spends his summers vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard and focusing his current work on what he know and loves most, landscapes, seascapes and marine portrature.


Tom has exhibited his work nearly every fall since 2004 at the Rowayton Yacht Club. His paintings havebeen selected for exhibit in the “Art to the Avenue” in Greenwich, and has been on display at local galleries and stores in throughout Fairfield County. Tom is a member of the Art Students League of NY, Rowayton Arts Center, Art Society of
Old Greenwich, Silvermine Guild of Artists, Greenwich Arts Council and the Connecticut Plein Air Painter Society.
