Many children have difficulty making friends. To address this issue, Smart Kids with Learning Disabilities,Inc., the Westport-based nonprofit organization and YWCA Parent Awareness are pleased to announce a FREE co-sponsored program with Lydia Soifer, Ph.D. An expert in child development, Dr. Soifer will discuss the complexity of social communication during her presentation titled “Have a Friend and Be a Friend: Building Social Communication Skills.” The presentation will take place on Tuesday, February 5th at Royle Elementary School, 133 Mansfield Road, Darien, CT from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
