The 16th annual Darien Family Fun Day, hosted by the Holly Pond School, will be held from 12 noon to 3 pm on Sunday, October 21, at the Darien YMCA. In celebration of Holly Pond’s state-of-the-art new school facilities, this year’s Family Fun Day will be bigger and better than ever. This fun-filled family event is open to the public and is designed for pre-school and elementary school age children. Tickets cost $25 per family, and all proceeds will benefit the Holly Pond School.
Family Fun Day, the Holly Pond School’s largest fundraiser of the year, will feature pony rides, musical entertainment by the Bossy Frog Band, two magic shows performed by Amazing Andy, a bouncy castle and obstacle course, games, crafts, bake sale and a silent auction. Food and beverages will be available at the event. Activities include face painting, mini pumpkin decorating, potato sack races, beading, mask making, bowling and visiting with the Sound Tigers mascot.
