‘Nappy’s Puppets’ Appears at the DCA This Friday!

The DCA is delighted to welcome back “Nappy’s Puppets” on Friday, November 16th at 10:00am.  Nappy's Puppets has been seen on a number of children’s television programs, including Between the Lions and The Book of Pooh. 


Nappy's Puppets performs quality Shadow Theater, combining storytelling and puppetry to create engaging live theater and demonstrate the importance of audience etiquette and participation. The material presented is derived from children's literature, traditional and modern music, and folk tales from around the world.


Jim Napolitano, the creator of Nappy’s Puppets is a native of Milford, Connecticut.  He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut's Puppet Arts Program, has worked with Bits and Pieces Puppet Theater, and has performed around the country and around the world, to include The National Culture Center in Japan and The National Theater in Taiwan.

Jim's most recent work can be seen on the new PBS show, Between The Lions. Other television credits include The Book Of Pooh, The Weinerville Chanukah Special, A Show of Hands and Stick Stickly . Jim has also worked on programs for Scholastic Home Video and HBO Pictures.


The DCA’s Mom’s Morning In program is designed for Parents, caregivers and grandparents with energetic toddlers/preschoolers. Every week there will be some sort of fun activity, offering youngsters a whole lot of fun, and adults a chance to socialize with adults.  Held weekly on Fridays at 10:00am, reservations are not required. Fees are $10 per child per class.
