New! Needlepoint Classes start February 6th at the DCA

The Darien Community Association will soon be offering a great class for those looking to be creative – Beginning Needlepoint.

Needlepoint offers a relaxing yet productive way to express your creative side.  Using a multitude of colored threads, an open-weave canvas, pattern and needle, this habit-forming activity is a great way to relieve stress while creating gifts or artwork for your home.

Instructor Sue Ozanne, past instructor at Darien’s House of Needlepoint, helps her students learn the intricacies of the art, while enjoying the therapeutic value.
