SPEDucated Parents of Darien meets biweekly to provide speakers and community discussion to share with parents critical information they need to effectively advocate to educate their special needs child. We welcome all families with children who are struggling learners in addition to those with special needs. This weeks speakers include: Sarah Modem-Alliston: director of children's ministries, former special education teacher, special needs parent & aunt to children with special needs. Attorney Andrew Feinstein...presenting Strategies For Conflict Resolution. Ensuring children receive a fair and appropriate education (FAPE) in accordance with IDEA
