Straight Talk

Straight Talk: October 22nd 7:30 – 8:30PM at The Depot

“We went out for the night, my child only had a few
friends over, the cops were called… Now what?”

Last year The Darien Police Youth Officers and The Depot made some changes to “Mom & Pop Shop” and it was a huge success. The new program “Straight Talk” allows parents to talk with Darien’s Youth Officers and School Resource Officer in an unstructured, off-the-record setting. You told us you wanted to talk candidly about underage drinking, parties, liability, texting, sexting… So, mark your calendars… Middle school parents are encouraged to attend – by eighth grade; kids see 100,000 ads for alcohol!

Find out what's happening in Darienwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Take an hour to come and meet Darien’s Youth Officers – no script, no agenda, no large auditorium, just Straight Talk.
