Margaret Roach – celebrity gardener, author and lead blogger for “A Way To Garden.com” – will present on “The 365-Day Garden” at the Darien Community Association on Tuesday, January 8th at 9:30am.
Margaret left her corporate city life to focus on her true passion in life – gardening, immediately taking on an overgrown, bramble-infested bit of Columbia County, New York. With time she developed her 365-day garden style. It was a happy side effect — "a total serendipity" she says — precipitated by her love of birds. An avid blogger, experienced gardener, and generous teacher, this will be quite an event for all levels of green thumbs.
This gardening event will be held at 9:30am on Tuesday, January 8th, with coffee at 9:30 and presentation at 10:00am. A joint meeting of the DCA Greenhouse Group and the Garden Club of Darien, this program is free to DCA members and Garden Club of Darien members; $15 public price.
