“Vote & Vax” on Election Day in Darien!
Flu season is upon us and the best way to remain healthy and avoid infection is to receive a flu vaccination. The Darien Health Department will host a “VOTE and VAX” on Election Day, November 6th from 3 to 7PM in the Town Hall Auditorium. Preservative free fluzone will be offered to anyone over the age of 36 months. The preservative free fluzone high dose will also be offered to anyone 65 and older. No appointments are needed. The flu vaccine costs $30 and is payable by check, Medicare Part B or if you have a ConnectiCare insurance card.
In addition, both vaccines are also available by appointment in the Health Department office every Monday from 9AM to noon. Appointments may be scheduled at www.darienhealth.com.
