Community Corner

"Simple Steps to Avoid Environmental Toxins" Seminar

Hosted by Greening Our Children, this seminar will be led by Dr. Sarah Evans who will share current information with us about research at Mount Sinai. There will then be a question and answer period when audience members will be able to ask specific questions pertaining to their own lives.

Dr. Evans received her graduate degree in Neuroscience from the Weill Cornell Medical College. She currently studies how exposure to hormone-disrupting chemicals affects brain development. A mother of a five-year old, she is also involved in public advocacy efforts to protect our families from toxic chemicals, including work with the Coalition for a Safe and Healthy Connecticut.
