*New Date** Taking Control: Financial Strategies for Women – February 11th at the DCA

The Darien Community Association (DCA) is pleased to offer an educational lunchtime workshop focused on personal finances from a woman’s perspective. This Wise Women’s Wednesday’s session will offer sound, practical strategies that can be used immediately to pursue a more comfortable financial future. In about an hour, the class will cover topics ranging from investing to retirement to maximizing Social Security benefits to preparing for the unexpected, with specific information for women who face divorce or widowhood.

One of a series, these workshops are designed to help women find their financial confidence. Sessions are led by instructor and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor Karen Goersch of Price Financial Group. Light lunch will be provided.
 
This interactive workshop will be held on Wednesday, February 11th from 12:30 to 2:00pm. The workshop fee is $20, or $10 for DCA members.
