The History of Tea

The next Darien Community Association (DCA) Women’s Group Luncheon will be held Tuesday, April 1st and titled “The History of Tea.”

Green tea or black tea? Herbal tea or oolong tea? If you are the type of person who enjoys a good cup of tea, you’ll want to hear Betty Johnson of Bigelow Tea speak about the history of tea. In addition to the history, you’ll learn how tea is processed, and the many health benefits that may just be new to you.

This Women’s Group event will occur at 12:15pm on Tuesday, April 1st. This event is $15 per person, or $10 for DCA members. A full lunch will be provided by Carolyn’s Absolutely Fabulous Events. Reservations are requested, and can be made online at dariendca.org; alternatively contact the DCA at info@dariendca.org or 203-655-9050. The DCA is located at 274 Middlesex Road in Darien.
