Tips to Keep your Holiday Entertaining Simple, Yet Elegant with Laura Boulton

Popular event planner Laura Boulton will present “Tips to Keep your Holiday Entertaining Simple, Yet Elegant” at the Darien Community Association (DCA) on Tuesday, December 3rd at 12:00pm.

Entertaining during the holidays can be intimidating – and expensive. Join us for a fun afternoon when Laura offers her top tips for the party season and all it encompasses, with suggestions on how to keep it hassle-free yet sophisticated. Topics include “No Wallflower Zone” – choosing the right music, décor and lighting; “Channel Your Inner Supermodel” – the dressing dilemma; and “The Little Details” – from bathroom and boudoir to coat check and the parking predicament.

Laura is the founder and lead event planner for Laura Boulton Events. Before starting her own business, she worked for Patricia Blake Catering for five years, as well as in advertising and as a cooking school director. This rounded background has given her the perfect blend of organizational skills and creativity needed to execute an event of any size. Sample cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will also be offered.

This Women’s Group event will occur at 12:00pm on Tuesday, December 3rd. This luncheon is $15 per person, or $10 for DCA members. Reservations are encouraged for what will be a well-attended event, and can be made online at dariendca.org; alternatively contact the DCA at 203-655-9050 or info@dariendca.org.
