Veterans Day Ceremony at Town Hall

The public is invited to attend the ceremony at the Darien Town Hall Veterans' Memorial Circle at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 11, 2013. Members of Darien's Monuments and Ceremonies Commission and VFW Post Commander, Phil Kraft along with First Selectwoman, Jayme Stevenson will conduct the ceremony to honor all veterans. The ceremony begins promptly at 11:00AM adhering to the custom of having this ceremony at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month which was the moment when the Armistice took effect in World War One.
