Village Critter Outfitter pairs up with OPIN for pet adoption and shelter fundraiser

In honor of National Animal Shelter Week, Village Critter Outfitter together with Outreach for Pets In Need, OPIN, is hosting a pet adoption and fundraiser for The Stamford Animal Care and Control Shelter on November 16, 2013 from noon until 3 p.m.

OPIN has a selection of dogs and cats to adopt that have been kept healthy and happy but in desperate need of a good home. Fostering and Adopting applications are also available online at the Stamford Animal Care and Control Shelter and OPIN websites.

The Stamford Animal Care and Control Shelter practices a low kill philosophy, and responds to stray
and injured animals, animal bites and animal abuse calls. The Animal Care and
Control Shelter is also a municipal facility that enforces animal laws and
conducts investigation in animal related complaints. This shelter is in danger
of losing funding and ability to provide the services to all of our animal
companions.
