Finances, by Julie Jason.

make wise decisions. The presentation will be held on Tuesday, October 29th,
at 6:30 PM in the YWCA Darien/Norwalk, 49 Old Kings Highway North, Darien,

Whether it is planning for retirement or
getting a fresh start after becoming newly single, an alarming majority of
women (7 out of 10) say that financial information is hard to understand.  According to The Allianz Women, Money and Power
Study: Empowered and Underserved, women prefer to learn in a
non-intimidating environment with other women.
YW’s Job Search Support is pleased to offer Ms. Jason’s presentation in
a small group setting to women in the lower Fairfield County area.

Ms. Jason is the author of the highly
acclaimed, Managing Retirement Wealth
(Sterling Publishers 2011) which has won The EIFLE Award (Excellence in Financial
Literacy Education) 2012 and The International Book Award for Personal Finance 2012.  In
addition, she has written,  The
AARP Retirement Survival Guide

(Sterling Publishers 2009), which has been recognized as Top Ten
Business Book
for 2010 (Booklist - the American Library Association) and The
International Book Award for Personal Finance 2010.

From new college graduates to women returning to the workforce, the
YW’s Job Search Support program provides guidance for women in all stages of
the job search process. A free half hour consultation is offered for resume
review or to discuss any aspect of the job search.
