Empowering Your Child and Encouraging Self Advocacy with Dr. Barbara Greenberg

Wednesday, October 9 at 9:30 am at the Middlesex Middle School  

Self-advocacy is about enabling and empowering children to direct their own lives. In this age of helicopter parenting, children need to be able to speak for themselves and act as their own advocates. Dr. Barbara Greenberg, a teen, adolescent, child and family psychologist, will address how parents can encourage their children to make their own choices and take risks to become more independent.
