After that Snow, Darien Extends Restaurant Week to Feb. 9-13

What do you do when the food is good? You ask for seconds.

Well, the whole town is going to get "seconds" with a second week of Darien Restaurant Week.

There was too much snow and not enough days for Restaurant Week, so it's been extended for another five days, from Sunday, Feb. 9 to Thursday, Feb. 13, the Darien Chamber of Commerce has announced.

This gives you another chance to try out new places or go back to favorites at a discount.

"Participating restaurants will offer a special prix-fixe lunch and/or dinner menu throughout Restaurant Week," says a news release from the chamber. "Number of courses to be offered is a minimum of 3 and excludes tax and gratuity."

Participating restaurants offer a special prix-fixe lunch or dinner menu (or both), with at least three courses offered:

  • Mid-range: Lunch $12.14; dinner $18.14
  • High-end: Lunch $20.14; dinner $30.14
These restaurants are participating this week:

Anthony's Coal Fire pizza

Bodega Taco Bar

Cesco's Trattoria
