The 9th annual Big Rig Gig! This fun-filled day allows kids of all ages to experience their favorite BIG trucks like never before. In addition to climbing on these larger-than-life trucks, children will have the opportunity to go on rides, play exciting games, enjoy musical entertainment and much, much more. Ticket cost is $30 in advance and $40 at the door per family.
Tickets may be purchased at www.opus4p2p.org. Those who purchase prior to the event will be entered into an exclusive raffle with the opportunity to win an exciting prize. Lunch, snacks, and exclusive Big Rig Gig merchandise will also be available for purchase. Proceeds from the day’s events go directly to Opus for Person-to-Person. Proceeds from the Big Rig Gig benefit Opus for Person-to-Person. The purpose of Opus is to support Person-to-Person through fundraising efforts and public awareness. Person-to-Person is a volunteer-driven, Darien-based community agency that, through a sharing of goods and talents, responds to our neighbors who lack basic human necessities and/or resources to improve their lives. Person-to-Person provides rapid response to client emergencies and offers services that support their client’s journeys toward self-sufficiency, including practical help, advocacy and education.
