Children's Book Drive at Darien Library Begins March 23 A One Book, One Community Event

Darien Library, in conjunction with Darien Book Aid, will hold a book drive from March 23 to April 6, 2011.

The Library will accept donations of new or nearly new children’s books, which will then be distributed to the local community, Peace Corps volunteers, libraries, and schools all over the world.

The Children’s Book Drive is part of Darien Library’s One Book, One Community experience, which encourages everyone in town to read the same book (“Countdown” by Deborah Wiles) and then come together to explore its themes.
