CT-Moms Community-wide Tag Sale

WHAT: A local group of moms have come together for the second consecutive year to help raise awareness and money to support local agencies who help victims and survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence in our area. CT-Moms invites you to come shop for a good cause; house wares, toys, clothes, electronics, baby gear, and more! CT-Moms, the largest and most active online networking organization for Moms in Fairfield County, will be hosting a multi-family tag sale on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 10am-3pm at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church; 1200 Shippan Avenue in Stamford. The venue was generously donated by the Church, and the sale is a fundraiser for the Center for Women and Families.

"The local community has really come together in support of this important cause. The tag sale expenses including advertising, publicity and printing have been generously donated by local businesses," said Medha Thomas, founder of CT-Moms. Sponsors include Allied Training Professionals, Budget Blinds, and Giant Steps, as well as Garden Catering and High Ridge Printing and Copy Center.

This is CT-Moms' second annual tag sale. The first helped to raise over $1200 for the Domestic Violence Crisis Center.
