"The Power of Connecting," Talk & BNI Visitors Day

The Darien Dynamos Chapter of Business Networking International (BNI) invites local businesses to increase sales through networking on Tuesday, March 20, 7:15 to 9 am, at the Doubletree Hotel, 789 Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk. Link to map.

A free event, BNI Visitors Day will feature “The Power of Connecting,” a talk by business and executive coach Rich Gee. The keynote speaker teaches leadership, team-building and sale skills to companies nationwide through his firm, Rich Gee Group

BNI Visitors Day will include a continental breakfast plus a typical BNI meeting where guests can see the BNI process in action. Darien Dynamos will share the BNI credo of “Givers Gain” as they offer referrals, set up meetings, and announce business closed through the help of fellow BNI members. Information about getting quality business referrals will be presented by Drew Bisset, Assistant Director for BNI Connecticut

Affiliated with the largest and most effective business networking organization in the world, the Darien Dynamos include over 45 companies from all over Fairfield County. BNI welcomes business owners, sales people, and marketing managers – anyone who wants to build sales through trusted referrals.

To enable open sharing of referrals, BNI chapters limit membership to one member per business category. The Darien chapter will be accepting membership applications at Visitors Day. If your business category is already filled, you will be introduced to nearby BNI chapters.

The event offers visitors a personal look at BNI’s referral process, which drives member success. Guests will be invited to introduce themselves to the entire group.

“Plan to give a 30-second pitch for your business,” said Todd Forcellina, President of BNI’s Darien Chapter.
