  • The Greenwich Alliance for Education's Bridging The Digital Divide (BTDD) program helps GHS students who do not have the means to afford Internet access or a computer at home. The Digital Divide program has raised $345 through Patchworks so far.  The Alliance started the program in 2011 and five students received 12 months of access to on-line learning resources and tools (hardware, DSL connectivity and training.) Ten more students benefitted from the program this past school year. The Alliance is planning to add 20 students in the upcoming school year, withan estimated cost of  $1,000 per student. Candidates are nominated by guidance counselors as well as community partners such as the Boys and Girls Club.
