Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza Raises $19K for Breast Cancer Awareness

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza donated 10 percent of its New York, New Jersey and Connecticut restaurants’ dine-in and take-out sales every Tuesday in October to PLAY for P.I.N.K. ® in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month for a total of $19,475.

PLAY for P.I.N.K., a national nonprofit organization, raises money for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® through community clubs and sporting events.

Participating locations included Darien, CT (319 Post Road); Clifton, NJ (852 St. Route 3); Edison, NJ (80 Parsonage Road); Ramsey, NJ (984 Route 17 North); Carle Place, NY (137 Old Country Road); Commack, NY (6401 Jericho Turnpike).

Also: Wantagh, NY (3430 Sunrise Highway); White Plains, NY (264 Main Street); Great Neck, NY (420 Northern Blvd) and Woodbury, NY (8063 Jericho Turnpike).

Play for P.I.N.K. (Prevention, Immediate diagnosis, New technology, Knowledge) is a grassroots organization dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, by creating and promoting awareness of breast cancer through sporting and lifestyle events. 

Play for P.I.N.K.’s commitment is to contribute 100% of all monies raised to their sole beneficiary, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  Since 1996, Play for P.I.N.K. has donated nearly $30 million to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
