Scary Halloween Thoughts......

What holiday is the most fun and scariest at the same time. That's easy, Halloween of course.
Halloween means costumes and candy. Kids of all ages love this holiday and since we like to include our four legged friends in most things we do, we dress up our best friend for parades and parties. Scary monsters and zombies are everywhere and here are some of the scary things you didn't even think of.
Most human treats are not usually good for dogs! Candy - especially chocolate - can be extremely toxic to your dog. Artificially sweetened candy, gum and other goodies may also contain xylitol, a highly toxic substance. Dogs may also ingest food wrappers, causing a risk of choking, upset stomach or gastrointestinal blockage.
If you plan to take your best friend out trick or treating after dark stay safe!  Follow good safety rules, carry a flashlight and have reflective clothes on yourself and your pet. It's scary out there other trick or treaters may be too much for your pet, so be sure to have your pet in a well fit collar and a good solid leash.
HAVE FUN & STAY SAFE!
