What's Open, What's Closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Here's what's open and what's closed in Darien and beyond for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, 2014:

OPEN:

• Darien Library
  

• Darien YMCA: "We will be open on Martin Luther King Day and all programs will run as scheduled with the exception of Holly Pond Nursery School and Kids Club."

• Darien Community Association has activities on Monday.

• Banks in Connecticut have the option of opening or closing. TD Bank is open.

• Darien Nature Center

• U.S. government offices

• Post Offices

• Darien town government offices

• Holly Pond Nursery School and the Kids Club, both at the Darien YMCA.

• The New York Stock Exchange and much of the financial industry

• CT Transit bus service in Darien and Stamford has regular local service but restricted express service.

• Norwalk Transit District offices are closed, as is regular Wheels bus service. For other service, see its schedule on the website.
