Balloon Decor

Balloons have been the cause of stress in many of the parties I have thrown, always worrying if the balloons would be ready on time, waiting in line to pick them up and cramming them into the back of the SUV... all just perfectly so that not one would pop or fly away. Balloon decor can be very beautiful, elegant and affordable. We all know a party is not a party without balloons and anyone who loves balloons knows that they are an easy way to make a party festive and how beautiful do they look in your photographs! Balloons can also help build a fabulous party theme, announce different activity zones and add that extra “Wow!” to favors and gifts. 

First, pick a color theme and carry the balloons throughout your party decorations... whether you decorate your mailbox, tables, have as an activity, have them hanging from the ceiling or in clusters throughout the room. The first thing people notice in a party is the long strings of vividly colored balloons. One can have balloon decorations in the craziest patterns imaginable and add life and laughter to a party. Blow balloons into each other filling them with chocolates, and watch the kids go berserk when you burst them. Unleash your creativity by twisting balloons into really wacky shapes. Balloon inspirations can be fun, whimsical, formal, elegant, intimate and lots more! It really depends on what you are trying to achieve. It remains one of the most effective ways to filling a space with maximum impact! 

You may associate balloons with children's parties and think of them inappropriate for sophisticated adult events. However, modern balloon design has come a long way and it is now very chic to have large, white perfectly round (36 inch) latex balloons at a wedding reception (see photo). If you have a large area to decorate, what is better to use than balloons. They are light, airy, beautiful in colors, or clear and whether at the entrance way, dance floor or head table, balloons make a statement always. Bring balloons to your party and everyone smiles, whatever their age.
