Darien, Rowayton real estate markets end 2012 with gains

 

Residential real estate markets in Darien and Rowayton ended 2012 with gains, according to Darien MLS results released today.

Darien results comparing 2012 with 2011:

     * Sales up 23.3 percent,

     * Sales volume up 12. 6 percent, and

     * Average sale price down 8.7 percent.

 

Rowayton results were:

 

     * Sales up 16.7 percent,

     * Sales volume up 20.6 percent, and

     * Average sale price up 3.3 percent.
