The residential real estate markets in Darien and Rowayton, CT, showed small gains in the latest year-to-date update comparison report released today by the the Darien MLS.
In Darien, there were 10 sales compared with 9 during January of 2012, for an 11 percent gain.
Other Darien statistics comparing 2012 and 2013 were:
-- Sales volumne up 5 percent, and
-- Average sale price down by 5.5 percent.
In Rowayton, statistics were :
-- Sales up by one for a 33.3 percent increase,
-- Sales volumne down 26 percent, and
-- Average sale price down by 44 percent.
