Darien Real Estate Posts Gains in October Update
Darien residential real estate continued to post gains over 2011 in the latest year-to-date update from the Darien MLS:
Highlights:
-- Sales of single family houses were up 20.2 percent;
-- Sales volume for single family houses was up 5.8 percent;
-- Condo sales doubled from three to six in the reporting period.
Average sale price for single family houses declined 12 percent, but the same category for condos rose 7.6 percent.
