Darien residential real estate sold listings in September posted an 18.5 percent gain comparied with September 2011 on a year-to-date basis. They went from 189 to 224 in the period, according to statistics from the the Darien MLS.
Average sales price for residential units in the same period edged up 1.8 percent, from $1,380,625 to $1,405,714.
And the average days on the market for sold residential properties dropped 16.7 percent, from 131 to 109 days.
