Celine Dion is putting her Jupiter, Fla, compound on the market for $72.5 million, Alyssa Abkowitz reports today on Wall Street Journal.com.
And Christian Candy, the 39-year-old developer of high-end homes for the super-rich, has paid $35 million for a 30-foot-wide Renaissance-style mansion in a prime location just off New York's Park Avenue according to Josh Barbanel, writing today in Wall Street Journal.com.
The 5.7-acre Dion property has a Bahamaian-style home that is nearly 10,000 square feet with five bedrooms and five en suite bahrooms, a formal living room with valuted ceilings, a screened-in porch, a media room, an elevator and guest wing.
The property includes an eight bedroom guesthouse, a tennis house with a stimulated golf range, a pool house and beach house, as well as three pools.

Mr. Candy said he planned to renovate the 17,000-square-foot limestone mansion on East 70th Street to turn it back into a single family residence.
