Depot Running Fundraiser for Inspirica

The Depot Student Governing Board is sponsoring a bed sheet drive to benefit INSPIRICA (formerly St. Luke's Lifeworks). Please donate extra-long twin bedsheets, pillowcases, or mail a donation.

The Depot Student Governing Board is sponsoring a bed sheet drive to benefit INSPIRICA (formerly St. Luke’s Lifeworks), a non-profit home to some of the many without homes in lower Fairfield County, that helps in the difficult transition from homelessness to a steady lifestyle. INSPIRICA not only provides housing, but also classes that help in the job application process. INSPIRICA has recently been facing a problem with bed sheets. As there are many that live there (both short and long term), the shelter is at a constant need for extra-long twin sheets and pillowcases.

The Depot Student Governing Board has pledged to help INSPIRICA by running a bed sheet drive which will be undertaken in two different forms. First, there will be drop boxes located at Middlesex Middle School (Atrium), The Darien Library and Darien Town Hall. You will also be able to drop your donations of extra-long bed sheets at The Depot Youth Center during their annual “Depot Wrap-Up” fundraiser (December 19-23, where The Depot elves will conveniently wrap your presents for you this Holiday Season). Anyone wishing to donate by check can mail it to The Depot Youth Center, PO Box 2381, Darien, CT 06820. Please ear mark checks “INSPIRICA”.
