Christa McNamara: A Smart & Qualified Candidate for Board of Education

Smart, focused, committed and qualified; just a few words that come to mind when I think of my friend Christa McNamara, candidate for the Board of Education this coming election.

Christa is qualified for this position with a masters in education, six years of service at the PTO level, and six years of service for the RTM’s education committee.   Christa has worked through years of budget cycles and can hit the ground running with the current members.  Christa has a keen knowledge of the curriculum and has always been my source of information with regard to Darien’s public schools.  Christa has been a great sounding board for me through the years, graciously giving her time and expertise.

Christa is committed for the long haul, with 3 young children in our school system.  With her longstanding interest in education and serving our community, she is a perfect fit the BOE.  I am proud to endorse such a knowledgeable, hardworking, and passionate woman for the BOE.
