Darien EMS-Post 53 Members Demonstrate Hands-Only CPR To Promote Hands For Life Darien 2013 on September 29

In Just 15 Minutes, You Can Learn To Save a Life!

Darien, CT (September 21, 2013) – Darien EMS-Post 53 members Charlotte Pik and Caroline Nelson performed a demonstration of hands-only CPR with (left to right) Daniel Traver, Peter Traver, Lee Thalhammer and Jake Heyde at the Darien High School football game on Saturday, September 21st.  The two, serving as the on-site EMS crew during the game, used the opportunity to promote Hands for Life Darien 2013, a day of Hands-Only CPR training on September 29, presented by Post 53 and the Darien YMCA.  The event will take place at the YMCA, located at 2420 Post Road, Darien from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  The free CPR training takes only 15 minutes, and is open to all, including children.  No appointment is needed.
